The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) invites fisheries, scientists, NGOs, and postgraduate students to apply for grants from the Ocean Stewardship Fund. The fund aims to promote best practices in sustainable fishing and increase the number of sustainable fisheries worldwide. Grants are available to support small-scale fisheries and those in developing countries. Additionally, the Student Research Grant provides funding for postgraduate students conducting research with fisheries involved in or progressing toward the MSC program. Grant awards range from £5,000 to £50,000 across five different categories.
Please consider BCSS as your partner in the application process, or as your research partner on the ground.
The application deadline is 02 December 2024.
