Our Videos

The Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies (BCSS) films professional videos almost daily through its ongoing research programs, visitor activities, diving, expeditions and underwater observatories.

BCSS also enjoys good relations with global TV producers, cinema crews, and professional filmmakers who may allow footage to be used on the BCSS website and/or social media channels. Please ensure you read the License Our Imagery section and if in doubt Get In Touch to use BCSS media materials, including photos, videos, documentaries, commercials and aerial/helicopter shots.

BCSS Shark Tagging Project

At BCSS, we have been acoustically tagging migratory pelagic animals using VEMCO V16 tags in order to explore where they are going throughout the Bazaruto Archipelago. We want to see how much protection they are getting from the National Park, how they are using its waters, why do they come and stay here, and how far are they traveling beyond its boundaries.
